CARLOS PACHECO´S THOR INKS

 Carlos Pacheco fue probablemente una de las razones por las que comencé a dibujar cómics. En aquellos años, no había apenas autores españoles en EEUU y Pacheco fue un ejemplo para muchos, era posible dibujar superhéroes.
Durante años, veía sus páginas originales y luego veía los cómics terminados y veía que los entintadores no "cogían" el estilo de Pacheco. Luego, claro, llegó el gran Jesús Merino y eso se acabó durante muchos años. 
Actualmente, es el estupendo Roger Bonet quien se encarga de las tintas de Pacheco. 

Yo aquí pongo un par de páginas de mi "versión" de Pacheco. 



Carlos Pacheco was probably one of the reasons why I started drawing comics. In those years, there was not Spanish authors  in the U.S. and Pacheco was an example to many, it was possible to draw superheroes.
For years, saw his original pages and then finished comics, and I looked that the inkers not "caught" Pacheco style. Then, of course, came the great Jesus Merino and that was over for many years.
Currently, it is the great Roger Bonet who handles Pacheco inks.

Here I put a couple of pages of my "version" of Pacheco.

DAVID LOPEZ´S PENCILS

Sería justo decir que David López fue un referente cuando comencé a tomarme lo de los cómics como algo serio hace ya unos años y la verdad es que hubo un momento en que mi estilo se inclinaba mucho hacia lo que hacía David. 
Con el tiempo David me ha "prestado" algunas páginas de su trabajo para que pudiese entintarlas y aprender con ellas y de hecho me las ha corregido después explicándome qué y cómo es mejor hacer las cosas. 
Gracias por todo David. 
Cuelgo tres páginas de David López, dos que entinté hace relativamente poco tiempo y la primera que hice hace unos años. 


It would be fair to say that David Lopez was a reference when I started to take me to the comics as a serious matter some years ago, and the truth is that there was a time when much my style leaned toward what David did.
Over time, David has "borrowed" me a few pages of his work so that I could ink and learn with them and actually corrected me after explaining the what and how best to do things.

BUCKAROO BANZAI

Tintas realizadas para la editorial Moonstone Books, con los estupendos lápices de David Daza, para una miniserie de dos números del héroe pulp Buckaroo Banzai, el cirujano samurai y músico. "Tears of a clone"
Aprendí mucho con estos dos números, fueron las primeras páginas que realicé de manera profesional y esperemos que no sean las últimas. 


Inks made to the publisher Moonstone Books, great pencils from David Daza, for a miniseries of two issues of pulp hero Buckaroo Bazai, the surgeon samurai and musician. "Tears of a clone"
I learned a lot from these two numbers, were the first pages I made profionally and hopefully not be the last.
